Promotions

Sales → Promotions — coupons and gift cards. Needs promo:manage. The page is available when Coupons or Gift cards is switched on (see Configuration → Features); each tab appears with its own feature.

Coupons

A coupon is a discount customers redeem with a code. The list shows the code, the Discount, Min spend, validity, how many times it has been Used and whether it is Active. Active only filters the list and New coupon opens the form:

• Name, Code, Active and a Description.
• Limited to services — Every service or a chosen set.
• Discount — a Type (Percentage or Fixed amount), a Value, an optional Max discount (a ceiling for a percentage) and a Min spend.
• Validity and limits — Valid from / to, Total uses (or Unlimited) and uses per customer.

:::caution A service restriction cannot be cleared here A coupon's service restriction can be set and changed, but once set it cannot be removed from this screen — an untouched form leaves the existing restriction alone. Create a new coupon if you need one that applies to every service. :::

Deactivate retires a coupon without deleting its history.

Gift cards

Issue a gift card creates one with an Amount and Currency, an optional Expires date, Recipient name and email and a Message. Leave the Code blank to have one generated. A gift card is a balance a customer spends across bookings.

Look up finds a gift card by its code and shows its Balance and its History of use (Never used until the first redemption).
