Packages and memberships

Sales → Packages — sell sessions up front, or a plan that renews. Needs catalog:read to view and catalog:manage to edit. The page is available when Packages or Memberships is switched on (see Configuration → Features). It has two tabs.

Packages​

A package is a prepaid bundle of sessions. The list shows Name, Price, Validity and Active; New package opens the form:

  • Name, Price, Currency, Description and Active.
  • Valid for — a number of days, or Forever.
  • What it includes — one or more lines, each a Service and a number of Sessions. Add a service adds a line and Remove line deletes one. At least one line is required, and every line needs a service.

Membership plans​

A membership is a recurring plan that discounts or covers services. The list shows Name, Price, Billed (Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly), Discount, Included services and Active; New plan opens the form with name, billing period, price, currency, a discount (optionally with a cap, No cap), description and active.

Selling and using them​

Packages and memberships are sold from the customer's page: open the customer, then Sell package (choose the package and enter the price paid) or Enrol in membership (choose the plan and a start date). The customer page then shows what they hold. When taking a booking, a package session can be redeemed instead of paying; refunding that payment hands the session back.

:::note Not yet built There is no separate "sell a package" screen in the sales area, and no online-gateway checkout in this admin; selling is done from the customer page and manual payments and refunds are fully supported. :::
